A consulting firm run by the daughter of the judge overseeing former President Donald Trump's hush money trial is apparently working for a group behind ballot exclusion efforts against the real estate mogul.
InfoWars disclosed that Loren Merchan, daughter of acting New York State Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan, is the president and partner of the Chicago-based Authentic Campaigns. The company has organized fundraisers for Democratic politicians such as California Rep. Adam Schiff and President Joe Biden.
But it turns out that the Brennan Center for Justice (BCJ) is among the clients of Authentic Campaigns, having partnered with the consulting firms since last year. According to "Bannon's War Room" Executive Editor Natalie Winters, the BCJ has filed lawsuits against the Trump administration and campaign more than a dozen times. Moreover, the BCJ is connected to Hungarian globalist billionaire George Soros – with the center having received "considerable cash" from him over the years.
In January, the BCJ filed an amicus brief advising the U.S. Supreme Court to reject Trump's efforts to overturn the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to remove him from the state's primary ballot. The removal stemmed from claims that he incited the Jan. 6 false-flag riot in the U.S. Capitol.
"The brief urges the court to reject Trump's attempts to revive the independent state legislature theory on appeal," the BCJ wrote in its filing. However, the federal high court ruled in March that Trump cannot be banned from state ballots. Also in March, Trump's lawyers called for the elder Merchan to recuse himself from the case after it was revealed that his daughter was a political operative who raised $93 million in campaign donations for Democrats. This raised concerns about the judge's impartiality in the case.
Even Trump himself had previously raised similar concerns about the younger Merchan's political ties on his Truth Social account. Her father immediately reprimanded the former president, expanding a gag order previously slapped on Trump in the case.

Winters' report also revealed that Authentic Campaigns also worked with the Asia Society, a pro-China lobby group that sponsors several Confucius Institutes across the United States. These institutes funded by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) are propaganda centers notoriously rife with espionage activity that operated extensively on college campuses worldwide. During his term, Trump cracked down on their presence in American schools.
Authentic Campaigns has had the Asia Society as a client since last year. The company's website noted how they helped the group's propaganda reach a larger audience.
"Authentic devised a dual-focused approach to effectively tackle Asia Society's objectives. We combined targeted digital advertising campaigns with strategic list acquisition initiatives to maximize reach and engagement. A comprehensive understanding of Asia Society's diverse offerings enabled us to tailor each campaign to resonate with specific audience segments, thereby ensuring maximum relevance and impact."
Winters continued that Confucius Institutes have a counterpart in elementary and high schools called "Confucius Classrooms." These classrooms focus on spreading messages in support of communism and China to younger students.
The Asia Society frequently collaborates with other CCP-backed influence groups to push Beijing's agenda. Members of its board include CCP cadres and high-ranking officials at Chinese universities with track records of cyber-espionage and intellectual property theft. Such institutions include East China Normal University, Renmin University of China and Wuhan University.
