Capitol Police: NO CHARGES for Dem Senate staffer who filmed porn video in hearing room
By Laura Harris // Feb 06, 2024

The U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) has decided not to press charges against a former Democratic staffer in the Senate who filmed himself in gay intercourse while in a hearing room last December.

Aidan Maese-Czeropski, a former aide for Sen. Benjamin L. Cardin (D-MD), filmed himself having sex with another male in one of the hearing rooms of the Hart Senate Office Building. The footage eventually became public following revelations by the Spectator and the Daily Caller. A day after the two outlets broke the story, Cardin's office announced the staffer's termination.

After the scandal came out, several legal experts – including George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley – speculated that Maese-Czeropski could be charged with a crime under D.C. code section 22-1312, which discusses lewd, indecent or obscene acts. (Related: Disturbing photos of top Dems cozying up with hulking alleged child porn transvestite go viral.)

"The question is whether this unofficial use would constitute trespass. It also uses an official area for personal purposes, though it is not clear if there were any commercial benefits garnered from the video found on various sites," Turley wrote in a blog post.

However, according to the USCP, there is no evidence that Maese-Czeropski broke the law. It said: "After consulting with federal and local prosecutors, as well as doing a comprehensive investigation and review of possible charges, it was determined that – despite a likely violation of congressional policy –there is currently no evidence that a crime was committed. "Although the hearing room was not open to the public at the time, the congressional staffer involved had access to the room. The two people of interest were not cooperative, nor were the elements of any of the possible crimes met. The congressional staffer, who has since resigned from his job, exercised his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent and refused to talk to us."

The USCP reiterated that while they are closing the investigation for now, they remain open to reviewing new evidence should any surface.

Conservatives blast DOUBLE STANDARD in Capitol prosecutions

Given this conclusion, Turley took to X to air out his sentiments: "The USCP answered a much-debated question: It turns out that shooting a porn scene in a Senate hearing room and posting it on the internet is not a crime."

The law professor was not alone, however, as several conservatives quickly denounced the biased justice system on social media. They expressed indignation over the blatant double standard in the Biden administration.

"Let me get this straight," posted Real Clear Investigations senior writer Mark Hemingway. "Merely walking through the Capitol unauthorized is a felony – but having public sex in the building, filming it and putting it online doesn't merit a public lewdness charge? Please tell me why I am supposed to respect the rule of law in this country."

Political strategist Joey Meugniot also denounced the discrepancy, writing: "A Democrat staffer proudly makes a gay porn video in a Senate hearing room? No charge. A Trump-supporting grandmother with cancer walks into the Capitol? Jail time."

He also noted other similar incidents, such as activists receiving no criminal charges when they tore down a statue of a Catholic saint. In contrast, Navy reserve veteran Michael Cassidy was charged with a hate crime for beheading a display of the satanic icon Baphomet in the Iowa State Capitol. "Under Biden, America has literally become Sodom and Gomorrah," Meugniot ultimately remarked.
