Democrat political analyst Cathy "Liberal Sherpa" Areu Jones was arrested and accused of exploiting her own mother and her estate. The previous contributing WaPo editor and Fox News guest pundit allegedly kidnapped her own mother twice, threw her in nursing homes, and told the staff not to let her make phone calls or have visitors. Meanwhile, Jones is accused of stealing her mother's home and money to the tune of a quarter million dollars. She faces felony charges in south Florida.
Using a revoked power of attorney, the crazed Democrat threw her perfectly sane mother into different care facilities, convincing the staff to lock her down, and that she may try to escape or call for "help." Once staff and doctors at the assisted living homes figured out the mother was perfectly sane and competent, they released her. Prosecutors say the mother said Jones falsified documents when she forged the mother's signature on paperwork (a cash-out reverse mortgage) that turned over the mother's home to Jones and enabled her to siphon money from the equity. Liberal Sherpa also stole her mom's identity to get new credit cards.

You may recognize the name Cathy Areu Jones as the lady who accused the biggest names at Fox News of sexual harassment a couple years back, but that attempt failed when the judge dismissed the lawsuit less than a year later. Of course, the case made headlines all across mass media. The former WaPo shill and Democrat Progressive pundit used to be a regular guest on Tucker's show, always defending her progressive dogma. She also used to host the podcast known as the "Liberal Sherpa."
Jones is charged with financial exploitation of her 88-year-old mother in her organized scheme to defraud her elderly mom. Apparently, Miami-Dade police detectives have been trying to arrest her since last summer, when a judge signed an arrest warrant. Jones faces the following charges:
- 1 count -Kidnapping – 1st Degree Felony
- 2 counts -False Imprisonment – 3rd Degree Felony
- 1 count – Fraudulent Use of Personal Identification – 1st Degree Felony
- 1 count - Exploitation of the Elderly - 1st Degree Felony
- 1 count - Organized Scheme to Defraud – 1st Degree Felony
- 1 count – Conspiracy to Commit Organized Scheme to Defraud – 2nd Degree Felony

The press release states that Jones allegedly complained to DCF that her mother was mentally ill and unable to care for herself, but the staff and doctors at two different nursing homes, plus adult protection investigators at DCF, assessed her otherwise and 'released' her mother.
The investigation focuses on Jones' use of a quitclaim deed that surrenders the home over to Jones entirely. Her mother denies signing this document. Meanwhile, it looks as though Jones ran up the credit cards, in addition to the $220,000. It all spiraled out of control fast for the Democrat pundit, and it seems that this evil plot has been uncovered. Will this end her political-minded career? This time the accusations are against HER, and the evidence so far is more than just a paper trail.
