Chad Caton gets “fired up” over Rep. Hank Johnson linking MAGA supporters to violent extremism – Brighteon.TV
By Belle Carter // Oct 06, 2022

Former firefighter Chad Caton got "fired up" over allegations by Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) that Make America Great Again (MAGA) supporters were responsible for the deaths, injuries and police attacks during the Jan. 6 Capitol siege.

"The only [one] that killed anybody [was] the government, [which] killed Ashli Babbitt. That's been proven, that's been put out," he remarked during the Sept. 29 episode of his Brighteon.TV program "I'm Fired Up."

Caton proceeded to refute Johnson's remarks about MAGA supporters. Earlier in September, the Georgia congressman accused them of killing and hurting law enforcement officers during the Jan. 6 siege.

"Jan. 6, 2021 will never be forgotten – an infamous day in American history," he said during a hearing of the House Judiciary Committee that time. "MAGA Republicans descended upon the Capitol [and] engaged in an insurrection."

"People at the local level at affected school board meetings … won't forget the MAGA Republicans descending on their school board meetings after Jan. 6," Johnson added, accusing the "rioters" of being "fueled by the same dark-moneyed interests." The congressman also compared the Jan. 6 attendees to the parents who stood up against radical changes in school curriculums and pandemic-related school shutdowns.

"You're grooming the children," Caton remarked, taking shots at Johnson. "These parents came to say this is a public school and this should not happen, and you're calling them MAGA extremists?"

The "I'm Fired Up" host also played a video of Johnson repeatedly questioning an admiral during a Congressional hearing. The lawmaker for the Peach State was pressing the admiral about the exact dimensions of the island of Guam, as he was "worried" that the island would eventually capsize due to overpopulation.

"My fear it that the whole island will become so overly populated, that it will tip over and capsize," said Johnson.

Caton commented that the "big meathead" was "taking up everybody's time" by worrying about "capsizing an island." He continued: "Even the admiral was having such a problem with it. I give the admiral all the credit in the world for not laughing."

White House spokeswoman Jean-Pierre: Biden looking for a dead lawmaker perfectly normal

Elsewhere in the show, Caton played footage of a press conference with White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre answering queries from reporters. According to her, she "did not find it confusing" that President Joe Biden mistakenly looked for a deceased lawmaker from the crowd.

Biden looked out into the crowd during the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health, seemingly looking for Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN). The congresswoman died in a car crash with two of her staffers in August 2022.

"Jackie, are you here? Where's Jackie? I didn't think she was – she was going to be here," Biden said, bringing shock to those present in the event.

Jean-Pierre denied that Biden was looking for her out in the crowd and claimed he was speaking of the late congresswoman because she was "on his mind." When asked again, she insisted: "I think the American people who watch the briefing from time to time, maybe at this moment will understand when someone is at top of mind."

CBS News White House correspondent Steven Portnoy asked her to elaborate on Biden's "mistake," asking: "Can you explain where the mistake was made? Did the President – was the president confused? Was something written in the teleprompter that he didn't recognize? Can you just help us understand what's happening?"

The secretary then accused Portnoy of "jumping to conclusions." Members of the press bashed her on social media for her "lame excuse" and clear avoidance of the topic.

"She can't even say that the president made a mistake because he's ancient and probably he's got Alzheimer's. Where's the humility of telling the truth? How are we supposed to believe anything that comes out of this White House?" Caton pointed out. "You could even tell she wasn't happy."
