I’m Fired Up: Matt Couch says Biden administration is going after Trump’s top supporters – Brighteon.TV
By Kevin Hughes // Sep 15, 2022

The Biden administration is going after the top supporters of former President Donald Trump, according to Matt Couch.

Couch, who filled in for regular host Chad Caton, made this remark during the Sept. 8 episode of "I'm Fired Up" on Brighteon.TV. He mentioned that Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist during Trump's term, turned himself in at the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on the same day. Bannon, a known ally of Trump, also hosts the "Bannon's War Room" podcast.

"That's a big story that we are following and covering. But it's interesting to see how this administration continues to use their power, their tyranny, whatever you want to call it – toward the American people," said Couch.

"They are not letting things go. They are just continuing to steamroll. They are going after President Trump, they are going after his allies."

According to the guest host, Bannon has agreed to surrender to New York state prosecutors over the Texas border wall case. However, Couch mentioned that Trump already pardoned Bannon over the case – opening up a possible double jeopardy. (Related: Steve Bannon sounds alarm: U.S. Govt. now targeting free speech of citizens; DHS bulletin labels dissidents "domestic terrorists".)

"The New York state attorneys are basically going after this guy [Bannon]. It's really sickening when you think about that and what's happening," said the program host. "They are pushing rogue Democrat [attorneys general] and prosecutors, and they are going to come for anyone who backed [former] President Trump."

"From that standpoint, it's ludicrous – but this is a rogue administration. And that's going to be a very scary situation going forward until we take the House and the Senate back.

Couch also pointed out that Americans need to understand the ramifications of the Biden administration going after Bannon and other top allies of Trump as he believes it is just the beginning.

"It's really the Banana Republic at this point. They don't need a reason to come after you. They don't have to have a reason to come after you. And I don't believe conservatives understand the ramifications of what's really happening here," he said.

Americans need to talk about important issues that are happening

Couch also discussed the entire American landscape and how people focus on Trump instead of other matters.

Instead of talking about important issues such as gas prices, the Ukraine-Russia war, supply chain issues, rising inflation and the blunders of the Democrats in the last 19 months, the American people are just talking about Trump.

He pointed out that Americans should also discuss the economy, the workforce shortage, the broad overreach of Big Tech and the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the almost 300,000 illegal aliens entering the southern border.

Couch added that conservative Republican candidates are jeopardizing their chance to win the November midterm election and take control of both houses of Congress by not talking about the important issues affecting Americans.

He also stressed that the DOJ, the radical Democrats, the corporations, Big Pharma, Big Tech, the teachers' unions and the mainstream media that support the Democrats have one common denominator: They hate the more than 75 million American people who voted for Trump in 2020 and elected him president in 2016.

"That's the real problem here. The real conundrum is that they are absolutely just flabbergasted beside themselves that people still support Donald Trump. And they are mad at the people. They are not mad at Trump. They are trying to make an example out of Trump to show the people you're not in charge."
