The ad features several athletes, all biological females, preparing for a major track meet. The narrator expounds upon the intense training regimes the female athletes follow to reach peak performance.
One woman "trains at 6 a.m. every morning," another has "spent years working to shave off seconds" while a third athlete is "the captain of the school team," says the narrator. As the narrator delivers these lines, the women are assembling on the starting line.
Suddenly, the camera cuts to a pair of hairy male legs – which lines up alongside the females. "He's just a mid-pack finisher, but not today," exclaims the narrator.
The biological male competitor then coasts to victory as his female competitors trail far behind.
"Unfortunately, this competition was over before it even began," the narrator concludes. "Woke left-wing politicians are destroying girls' sports. Tell [President Joe] Biden and his radical allies: No men in girls' sports."
The ad perfectly summed up what happened when transgender swimmer William "Lia" Thomas competed in women's competition. "She" beat them all with ease.
The female swimmer said that after Thomas broke the women's record for 200-meter freestyle swimming, "she" loudly bragged about "her" achievement.
"That was so easy, I was cruising," the transgender swimmer allegedly remarked. (Related: 'So easy I was cruising': Trans U. Penn swimmer bragged about beating female opponents.)
The female UPenn athlete added that Thomas was unhappy with "her" time after the 500-meter freestyle event. However, "she" loudly mentioned that "at least I'm still No. 1 in the country" within the earshot of "her" teammates.
The ad featuring a biological male competing in a women's sporting event was just the start of CfS launching a multimillion-dollar campaign, which seeks to destroy "the woke ideology of sheltered white liberals," ahead of the November midterm elections.
The conservative nonprofit had begun running billboards with messages mocking liberal woke ideology. One such billboard had the message "Protect Pregnant Men from Climate Discrimination."
Another billboard zeroed in on the liberals' soft-on-crime policy: "Violent criminals deserve our compassion and respect. This fall, stand strong for progressive values."
A third billboard touched on the lax stance on border control: "Open the jails. Open the borders. Close the schools. Vote progressive this November."
"The woke ideology of sheltered white liberals is a mortal threat to American liberty, security and prosperity," said CfS consultant and Republican operative Ian Prior.
"CfS is not an ideological organization. We stand for reason, common sense, objectivity, equality, the neutral rule of law and open scientific inquiry – everything the radical left now stands implacably against."
Prior added that the nonprofit is using the messaging campaigns "to alert Americans to the urgent need to defeat and repudiate woke insanity before it destroys America."
The CfS consultant himself is no stranger to pushing back against wokeism, as he is also the executive director of the non-profit Fight for Schools. Prior's efforts in Fight for Schools – in the form of its opposition to critical race theory – propelled incumbent Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin to the state capitol in Richmond.
Politico, meanwhile, described CfS as a "dark money" organization.
"Under campaign finance laws, the organization is not required to disclose its donors," said the news outlet. "It has so far focused its efforts on Hispanic-heavy congressional districts in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona."
