Faddis issued this warning to the American public during his appearance on the Aug. 12 episode of "America Unhinged" on Brighteon.TV. Kinetic Faith Founder and Executive Director Rick Crump filled in for the program's regular host, theologian Dr. John Diamond.
"This is a deliberate effort and it will get more forceful," Faddis told Crump. "I fully expect the odds are overwhelming that you are going to see them show up and arrest Donald Trump for Lord knows what, which won't matter. They will put handcuffs on him before the November election to convict him of anything."
The retired CIA officer referenced the Aug. 8 raid conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) at Mar-a-Lago, the former president's home in Palm Beach, Florida. According to Faddis, the raid will not be the last – as the administration will get more and more extreme in taking down its political opponents. He added that the raid is a tyrannical move to demoralize Trump's supporters and instill fear in Americans.
He compared the Biden administration's actions to "tin-pot dictatorship" normally seen in third-world countries. This governance method, Faddis added, is often carried out by an autocratic ruler who typically has little political credibility and delusions of grandeur.
"This is how it works: You intimidate your opponents and the ones that won't shut up will go to jail. And then everybody else just gets cowed into silence and gets the memo to stop opposing the regime. That's precisely where we are in America."
Crump agreed with Faddis, adding that tyrants cannot really coerce with force if they do not have true power. They then resort to misinformation, spin things around and ostracize their enemies.
"They're banking on the fact that you're going to be caring more about being liked and your reputation than doing the right thing. This is a smear campaign on anyone who speaks up," said the guest host.
Crump also commented on the Mar-a-Lago raid, which he called a "demolition effort." The regime no longer uses words and now resorts to using force, he said.
Faddis also touched on the oppression experienced by Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA), a staunch Trump supporter and skeptic of the 2020 presidential elections.
According to Fox News, FBI agents confiscated his mobile phone on Aug. 9 – a day after the Mar-a-Lago raid. Three agents approached the congressman while he was traveling with his family. They handed him a warrant and requested that he turn over his personal phone. (Related: Major Trump ally says FBI seized his cellphone one day after Mar-a-Lago raid.)
"They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish. I'm outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the direction of Merrick Garland's Department of Justice, would seize the phone of a sitting member of Congress," Perry said in a statement to the news outlet.
"My phone contains info about my legislative and political activities, and personal [and] private discussions with my wife, family, constituents and friends. None of this is the government's business."
Perry, who also chairs the House Freedom Caucus, said the FBI's seizure of his phone was similar to the Mar-a-Lago raid. He claimed that both actions were politically motivated by the current administration.
"They raided Donald Trump's house and they are looking to smear and intimidate him. Then they stopped congressman Perry, who happens to be the head of the Freedom Caucus, and seized his cell phone," said Faddis. "The FBI is now interviewing and delivering subpoenas to anybody. Basically, anybody who's involved with the challenge to the results of the 2020 elections."
"This is all about intimidation. They are looking to crush their opposition like we're some third-world country,"
