Joining Meta and Pfizer are Uber, Citi, and Alliance Bernstein, all of which support the CCP and its tyrannical agenda. The "presenting sponsor" of the event is Meta, while Pfizer and the others are lower down on the food chain as "corporate champions" for the cause. (Related: Facebook's "fact checking" apparatus is nothing more than a government-funded psychological operation to censor free speech.)
Numerous CCP speakers will present at the celebration, which spans from September 2022 to June 2023. These propagandists will sing the praises of communist China and its oppression of Hong Kong, the country hosting the event.
"Jointly presented by AmCham and Meta, Onward Hong Kong is a ten-month program series running from September 2022 to June 2023 to explore the key challenges and opportunities that remain for Hong Kong," the event website explains.
"What is the future status of Hong Kong as an international financial centre? How will the city develop its next generation of leaders? What can we anticipate as Hong Kong grows into a smart, sustainable city? This series will bring together prominent thought leaders, business executives, government officials and experts to examine these questions as we look into the future of Asia's World City."
Several top officials in the communist Chinese government will also speak at the event, as will their advisers and a number of pro-CCP corporate executives.
Ever since China took back over Hong Kong, AmCham Hong Kong has become a turncoat in an attempt at buddying up to the CCP. This event and others like it represent free public relations work for the CCP, claiming that a China-controlled Hong Kong is still business friendly.
There will be no mentions made about the fact that Beijing engages in some of the worst human rights abuses anywhere in the world, or that the CCP is at least partially responsible for the unleashing of the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19).
AmCham Hong Kong is essentially now a whitewashing operation for the CCP, putting out rosy propaganda about how Hong Kong should still be viewed with "optimism and business confidence" despite it now being overtly controlled by communists.
"Hong Kong has been through many storms, but there are those who feel it is facing the most severe turbulence yet," the event's overview further reads.
"As we look to the next 25 years of Hong Kong as a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, it is imperative to renew optimism and business confidence, and to discover fresh opportunities to start a new chapter for this international city."
In the comment section at The Dossier, one person asked simply:
"When did the world go mad exactly? Financing and supplying weapons to Nazis (Ukraine), and now supporting communists (China)? None of us, We the People, support any of this. Stop giving money to these evil corporations."
Another wrote that AmCham Hong Kong is engaging in the very same doublespeak about the CCP that many governments around the world did when referring to Fauci Flu shots as "safe and effective."
"Resilience, rebound, and renewal are not the words I would use to describe a CCP-controlled Hong Kong," said another.
Someone else pointed out that as sickening as this all is, it is hardly surprising. After all, the World Economic Forum (WEF), the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), and the "Chamber of Crony Capitalist Commerce" are all of the persuasion that their agenda of "communism done right" is a perfect blueprint for the new world order.
