NO WHITES: University holds segregated graduation ceremony for black students ONLY
By JD Heyes // Jun 28, 2022

Every day we see new examples of how the Democratic left continues to rip Western societies apart at the racial seams in ways from which they will never recover.

One of the latest involves another university that has taken itself back to the bad old days of racial segregation.

According to True North, Hamilton's McMaster University held its first black students-only graduation earlier this month featuring the "Black National Anthem," proving yet again that black Americans don't want to be a part of our country and are trying to keep us divided some 60 years after the civil rights movement in which their parents and grandparents fought so hard to integrate.

"The ceremony was separate from McMaster's convocation ceremonies, and those who registered were able to attend. Black students were not obligated to attend," True North reported.

A tweet from the Ontario-based university noted: "'I hope you feel seen. And I hope you know you belong.' Pomp, circumstance, tears, gowns ... and live steelpan music. Black students and loved ones celebrated their achievements at the inaugural Black Grad Celebration. Congrats! And thank you," it said.

There is literally no constitutional amendment or statute of law that discriminates against Canadians of color, and yet, judging by this ceremony and the university's tweet, you would think black Canadians live in a nation that treats them like pieces of property or third-class citizens. What a way to send young blacks out into the world.

True North added:

"According to the university, the segregated ceremony brought together “students, family, friends, faculty and community partners” to celebrate black students who are part of the class of 2022.

"In addition to giving a special graduation garment that represents African American pride to the first 100 students who registered for the ceremony – McMaster also gave out a number of awards dedicated to 'Black identifying students.'

"The graduation ceremony was organized by the university’s Black Student Success Centre manager, Faith Ogunkoya."

Ogunkoya told CBC the ceremony was "very much about mitigating that social isolation that happens when you feel — in a predominately white institution — you're outnumbered."

She added: "What was important was to make sure I brought together Black faculty members, Black staff members and the students themselves. The whole day was about celebrating and centering blackness."

Again, there are no statutes in Canada that sanctify, excuse, enable or otherwise support discrimination by race and creed, so what we have here is the same kind of left-wing falsehood that by nature of being minorities, that amounts to de facto discrimination. It's a completely false premise and invented by hard-left counter-culturalists, whose only goal is to unravel stable Western societies and turn them against themselves.

And imagine any white person in Canada (or the United States) making a similar statement: "The whole day was about celebrating and centering whiteness." The Left would have lost their minds; we know, we've seen that happen.

But by the same token, there can be black-only entertainment; Latino organizations and television; publications and programming for Asians. But for strictly white people? Not a chance. That would be "discriminatory," even if it occurred in a state like California, where whites are in the minority.

Not that we are advocating for "whites only" anything, but the point still stands: If there can be a Congressional Black Caucus and a Congressional Hispanic Caucus, there should be a Congressional White Caucus without there being any complaints or accusations of "racism" against those who form it from members of those other caucuses, who, of course, would be massive hypocrites.

Our societies in the West are fracturing and often along racial lines. This is purposeful destruction by the Left.
