US proposes amendments to give WHO total control during health emergencies
By Mary Villareal // May 13, 2022

The Biden administration quietly proposed early this year a series of amendments seeking to strengthen the World Health Organization's (WHO) ability to unilaterally intervene in the affairs of nations merely suspected of having a "health emergency" of possible concern to other nations.

These amendments effectively remove all restraints from WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who has been put in power for his second five-year term. The amendments were submitted to the WHO on January 18 without an official statement or press conference.

Dr. Peter Breggin, a psychiatrist who had been vocal about the fraud and widespread lies behind the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, explained that these amendments put a line through the restraint on when the WHO can call for a disaster, an emergency or a health disaster or emergency in a country, and can do so without the cooperation, agreement or resistance from the said country.

The 75th World Health Assembly will convene on May 22-28 at the United Nations (UN) headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland to vote on the Biden administration's amendments that will hand over national sovereignty and authority to the WHO.

The U.S. amendments deleted critical existing restrictions in the regulation: "WHO shall consult with and attempt to obtain verification from the State Party in whose territory the event is allegedly occurring." The WHO can also draw conclusions based on their considerations, not proof of evidence. There does not have to be an actual threat – it can be a potential threat or public health threat or emergency coming out of the nation.

The proposed amendments don't have anything to do with evidence. There are no criteria for what constitutes a public health emergency other than what the WHO says. (Related: "TrustWHO" documentary exposes widespread corruption at World Health Organization, driven by Bill Gates.)

Any nation that has an emergency can face sanctions or controls from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, which are related to the UN and any of its facilities.

The Biden administration reiterated its support to WHO with a letter dated January 26, saying that it also has the backing of 46 other countries, including the U.K., Japan, South Korea, India, South American countries and members of the European Union.

Amendments not made public until much later

The contents of the proposed amendments were not made public until April 12. While the existing WHO regulations provide for an 18-month grace period for nations to withdraw their votes, the current proposed amendments reduced the opportunity to six months. If these amendments are passed, a majority of the nations could change their votes and reverse their approvals in the next months.

A report published by the United Nations in May last year claimed that the pandemic would have been prevented if the WHO had been given more global authority.

"In its current form, the WHO does not possess such powers. To move on with the treaty, WHO therefore needs to be empowered — financially, and politically. The treaty should possess an adaptable incentive regime, [including] sanctions such as public reprimands, economic sanctions, or denial of benefits," the report stated. Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver said the Biden administration has now set the country up to cede sovereignty concerning the health of Americans to the WHO. The proposed amendments would give the organization global jurisdiction over the United States.

"We have already seen the lawless abuse of power under Joe Biden by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which the courts have fortunately blocked. Americans would have very little recourse against the WHO. America must not give up its sovereignty to the WHO," he said.
