“Woke” public schools increasingly dumping tests and teaching children to hate whites in the name of pursuing “diversity” and “equity
By JD Heyes // Apr 27, 2022

As hard as it may be for you to do so, if you've got a child in public school, it would be in your and your child's best interests long-term, to get them out and either homeschool them or put them into a private institution.

That's because the left-wing lunatics who have long dominated our public education system are going all-out to fully transform the next generation into a race-conscious cabal taught to hate the white race and blame everything bad in their lives on someone other than themselves.

As The New American reports:

Can quality withstand the assault of diversity? Cases in point: In Virginia and New York City, schools have nixed merit-based entrance exams driven by a racial motive — increasing the number of black and Hispanic students and reducing the presence of whites and Asian-descent youths.

In fact, in Fairfax County, Virginia, a school-board member even admitted that their racial machinations have “an anti asian [sic] feel.”

The outlet goes on to cite the far-left New York Daily News which exposed the racial schemes in the city's public schools.

"Scrapping a preschool standardized entrance exam as the admissions criterion for New York City’s kindergarten 'Gifted and Talented' program more than doubled its enrollment of Black and Hispanic students, new Education Department data reveals," the outlet reported, adding that for the current academic year, the "kindergarten gifted class," which is chosen via teacher recommendations and by a lottery system, includes 575 black and Hispanic students representing 24 percent overall of the class.

But, the Daily News complained, "that's still a far way off from being representative of all city kindergartners [sic] -- 66% of whom are Black and Hispanic."

Of course, having a greater representation does not translate into a greater number of gifted students, but of course, that's not how the left sees race: It is about overall representation, period, not ability, and that is fundamentally anti-American and unconstitutional.

Still, the Daily News notes, this year's black and Hispanic gifted kindergarten class is "more than double the proportion of Black and Hispanic kindergarteners [sic] admitted to the program in 2020, when the entrance exam was still in place. Just 11% of offers to join the program in 2020 went to Black and Hispanic students."

"In 2021, 34% of kindergarten gifted offers went to Asian students, compared to 42% in Fall 2020. Data shows that 31% of offers went to white students this year, compared to 34% last school year," the Daily News added.

So, are we to infer that in uber-liberal New York City, the public school system -- which has long been dominated by uber-liberal Democrat voters -- was inherently racist all along? Because that is the only conclusion we can come up with for the newly inflated, race-based admissions for gifted kindergarten classes.

A corresponding report by the Washington Examiner noted a similar phenomenon taking place in Virginia:

In [Alexandria] Virginia, the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology [TJ] is denying students admission based on their ethnicity.

The school changed its admissions protocols in late 2020 with the aim of diversifying its student body, which had been more than 70% Asian American up until that point. Officials got rid of its traditional, merit-based standards, including standardized testing requirements, and set up a lottery instead that prioritized the middle schools least likely to send students to TJ.

The results were predictable: The number of black and Hispanic students in the school's incoming class rose substantially while the number of Asian American students tumbled to its lowest percentage in years. Black student admission rose from 1 percent to 7 percent; Hispanics from 3 percent to 11 percent; Asian-American student enrollment fell from 73 percent to 54 percent.

Are we to deduce that in a single year, suddenly, Asian American students were no longer as smart or gifted?

Of course not; that hasn't changed. What did change was the woke left getting more involved in denying legitimately gifted kids, regardless of race and ethnicity, a chance to excel even further -- because again, it's not about true 'representation' it's about raw racial politics, which is supposed to be illegal in America.

"In an earlier June 2020 email, TJ Principal Ann Bonitatibus admitted that the school’s goal in changing its admission policy is to ‘reflect the racial composition’ of the Fairfax community better,” the Examiner added.

However, that's not the purpose of such institutions like TJ, a state-chartered magnet school that is ranked among the best in the U.S. They were never created to "reflect" the "community" any more than an NFL team was created to reflect the community -- they are supposed to be comprised of the best players, regardless of skin color.

Our multi-racial, multi-ethnic country cannot survive this blatant racism. We'll tear ourselves apart -- but then, that's the goal of the 'woke' counterrevolutionary left, since they hate America as founded.
