The Health Ranger Mike Adams together with guests Steve Quayle, Tina Blanco and Eric Talman talked about the supply chain collapse that affected the satellite phone industry during a recent special broadcast of "Brighteon Conversations."
Quayle, an author and nationally known radio host, said people are now watching a strange series of events worldwide with the Ukraine-Russia War, the positioning of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) troops in Europe and communication problems.
"It is now becoming more and more apparent because we're now experiencing it in various places across the United States as well as the world. We are experiencing cyber attacks. We are experiencing communication attacks and the press in the United States won't tell anybody what's really wrong. And this is what's so critical about the satellite phones and the Bivy Stick, because we need to stay in contact with people on the ground," Quayle said.

Blanco said they want people to know what's going on and educate them on the products that are available. She revealed that they currently do not have any satellite phone to sell unless people are willing to wait three to four months because there is a big shortage.
The Satellite Phone Store chief executive officer disclosed that the 50,000 satellite phones they ordered are now down to 2,000 and that they are most likely to be purchased by the time the company gets them. She stated that they do have a few satellite phones left, but they are saving them for the first responders who may need them when a big storm or hurricane comes.
Bivy Stick is good alternative communication device to satellite phone
Quayle pointed out the importance of having a Bivy Stick aside from the satellite phones. He noted that having a Bivy Stick, which is a two-way satellite communication device, is a good alternative for those who weren't able to get satellite phones. The radio host and author added that when panic is in play, some people will absolutely go nuts to stay in communication with others.
Talman, who is the vice president of Satellite Phone Store, said the Bivy Stick really fills that gap when satellite phones are not available. He mentioned that a Bivy Stick is less expensive, battery-operated, lightweight and can be connected to a smartphone or mobile phone.
"It's working off a Bluetooth and it's really easy to connect. We haven't had too many issues at all with customers. You need to make sure your devices are running the latest software and that will make sure that you have a smooth connection with the Bivy. But then it has a GoPro mount right on the back or a regular tripod. So you can literally put this outside within range closer range. And you can be inside getting Galileo messages or communicating with your loved ones," Talman said.
"And one of the cool things about the Bivy is it is the smallest satellite communicator on the planet and it weighs 3.4 ounces. I've carried satellite phones around for years and a lot of other equipment. You never know when something's going to happen. That puts you in that position where you really have to communicate using alternate sources."
Talman said the Bivy Stick can be used with an iPod, iPad or Android device, among others. He added that people don't need to have a cellular, WiFi or GPS connection – they just need to have Bluetooth on their device.
Quayle said the Bivy Stick is a less expensive tool and the absolute best way to communicate besides a satellite phone. He added that the Bivy Stick is a quintessential device that a person must have because of what it can do, what it does and what you need to have it do.
Adams, the Brighteon.com founder, stressed that the Bivy Sticks will help good people in the community to be able to communicate effectively and share the resources that they have like food. He also took note that getting the Bivy Stick into the hands of people who are the most prepared to help keep society together and prevent the fall of local communities as the systems around them collapse.
