Early on, Kheriaty did not necessarily suspect that anything was amiss. Over time, however, he started to observe a clear pattern of behavior from public health officials that deviated from traditional medical ethics.
One of the biggest red flags he noticed was the aggressive push for everyone to get injected, including those with minimal risk of infection. Suddenly, it became all about compliance rather than public health, and medical freedom went right out the window in the process.
Kheriaty could not remain silent about what he was seeing, but the minute he started doing something about it, he was punished by UCI with a suspension.
"I had to stand up and try to do something about it," the professor of psychiatry and director of the UCI Health Medical Ethics Program, told The Epoch Times' "American Thought Leaders."
"I knew that I would wake up in the morning and not have a clear conscience" if he did nothing, Kheriaty added. You can watch a video interview with Kheriaty at the link below:

Kheriaty says that he and his family all contracted the Chinese Flu last year, based on test results they received. Everyone recovered without a hitch and none had to be hospitalized.
"It was, for me, actually a very liberating experience afterward because I didn't have to worry about the illness anymore," Kheriaty explained. "I knew the science on natural immunity."
The medical establishment now denies the existence of natural immunity, claiming that people can only attain protection against diseases if they get "vaccinated" for them. But Kheriaty knows the truth.
"I knew that at that point, I was among the safest people to be around," Kheriaty added about the natural immunity he obtained post-infection. "I didn't have to worry about transmitting the infection to my patients."
Kheriaty still complied with his hospital's mask mandates and other PPE (personal protective equipment) guidelines, but he says he knew full well the entire time that he was not a risk to others.
Where Kheriaty drew the line, however, was UCI's Fauci Flu shot mandate. A mask can be taken off, as can a gown or goggles. But once DNA-modifying gene therapy chemicals are inserted into the body, they can never be removed.
Not only that, but the jabs have been shown to damage the immune system, leaving it unable to fight off diseases as effectively – if at all – later on down the road.
Because the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) no longer recognizes natural immunity, UCI used this "expertise" to support its jab mandate, which does not recognize natural antibodies as being valid.
Kheriaty was left with no choice other than to comply or sue the school. He chose the latter, and the hope is that a potential victory will set a new precedent in favor of health freedom.
"What kind of discriminatory policies do we have in place that are excluding someone like me from the workplace when I'm 99.8 percent protected against reinfection whereas someone who got the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, by the company's own data that they submitted to the FDA, is 67 percent protective against COVID infection?" Kheriaty wants to know.
Initially, Kheriaty was just going to comply with the mandate. He changed his mind, though, after looking at the data and considering it more, leading him to the conclusion that it is not for him. He is now committed to fighting on behalf of everyone else out there who likewise does not want to get injected.
