“Look at me! look upon my virtue!”

These words are pretty much the M.O. of just about every Hollywood (and non) celebrity for the last four years, and social media is only making it worse.

Reports are alleging that these celebrities did not miss the opprotunity to virtue signal when they gave their support to The Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump, anti-American leftist fest.

The entire problem with ‘top-40’ music, Hollywood, and celebrity culture is the fact that these people are not too bright, and will simply jump on something they think is fashionable.

None of it has substance.

None of them have substance.

Breitbart had more:

As Breitbart News has reported, Hollywood elites have showered the Lincoln Project with money, with donations coming from Rob Reiner, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Jason Bateman, and Jennifer Aniston. Others including Harrison Ford, Sam Elliott, Mark Hamill, and Martin Sheen have narrated Lincoln Project videos.

Pop star and Biden surrogate John Legend promoted a Lincoln Project attack ad against Trump less than two weeks before the presidential election. Filmmaker Judd Apatow promoted a Lincoln Project tweet as “important.”

The Hill had a related report on the founder of the Lincoln Project, John Weaver:

A co-founder of The Lincoln Project is being accused of sending unwanted messages to young men, pressuring them for sexual favors in exchange for jobs and career advice, according to a new report.

John Weaver, who worked for various national Republican candidates such as the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and former Ohio Gov. John Kasich, has been accused by nearly two dozen men who said they received suggestive messages from Weaver, with one saying the messages began when he was 14 years old, The New York Times reported.

The Times reported that Weaver in one message told one of the young men he would “spoil you when we see each other.”
