Portland man who murdered Trump supporter is “100% Antifa,” police confirm

The Portland man who murdered Patriot Prayer supporter Aaron Danielson, aka Jay, over the weekend has been positively identified as 48-year-old Michael Forest Reinoehl, a former professional snowboarder and "100% Antifa" member, according to local police.

Video footage captured from multiple angles shows Reinoehl executing Danielson in the middle of the street near Southwest Third Avenue and Alder Street around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday. Reinoehl's neck tattoo, which shows a Black Lives Matter (BLM) fist in the air, can be visibly seen in the footage.

It was users at the popular image board 4Chan that reportedly identified Reinoehl through careful analysis of both the video footage and other social media evidence. Reinoehl's 36-year-old sister also positively identified him from the footage after receiving an alarming phone call just before 8 a.m. on Sunday, the following morning.

"That's how I found out," the woman, who wishes to remain anonymous for her own safety, told The Oregonian, further indicating that someone who called her family's home told her that her "whole family was in danger unless [they] turned him over," referring to Reinoehl.

The woman proceeded to call the police in Sandy, where she lives, to report the threat. From online screenshots, the woman was able to identify her brother and immediately told Portland detectives that the suspect was, in fact, him.

"We reached out to police and confirmed that we recognized Michael in the screenshots," she is further quoted as saying.

Reinoehl, it turns out, has been estranged from his sister and from the rest of the family, including his parents and younger brother, for at least three years. Reinoehl was an extremist who, not long before murdering Danielson, put up a creepy post to Instagram indicating his violent tendencies.

"Every Revolution needs people that are willing and ready to fight," Reinoehl wrote. "There are so many of us protesters that are just protesting without a clue of where that will lead. That's just the beginning that's that (sic) where the fight starts."

Reinoehl went on to thank his fellow comrades for their participation in the fight for anti-racism, admitting that he is "100% ANTIFA all the way!"

"I am willing to fight for my brothers and sisters!" he added. "We do not want violence but we will not run from it either! ... Today's protesters and antifa are my brothers in arms."

Reinhoel carried a loaded gun through the streets of Portland back in early July, but was never arrested or sent to jail

For someone who claims to "not want violence," Reinoehl sure has had a lot of run-ins with police, including charges he received two months ago for unlawful possession of a gun. Reinoehl was also caught driving under the influence, as well as driving uninsured with his license suspended.

Reinoehl also recklessly endangered himself, his 11-year-old daughter, his 17-year-old son, and others on the road when he was caught on June 8 street racing at speeds of up to 111 mph.

These and other escapades throughout the streets of Portland escalated following the reported death of George Floyd, after which Reinoehl started attending "protests" and getting into serious trouble with law enforcement.

On June 5, we now know, he was cited at 2:10 a.m. in the 700 block of Southwest Main Street for possessing a loaded gun in a public place. Reinoehl further resisted arrested and interfered with police, only to have these allegations later dropped with a "no complaint" issued, according to court records.

"The documents don't indicate why prosecutors decided not to pursue the accusations," reported Oregon Live. "Reinoehl spent no time behind bars."
