US Senator Rand Paul thanks D.C. police for saving his life after a BLM mob surrounded him and his wife
By Lance D Johnson // Aug 28, 2020

US Senator Rand Paul is one of the best when it comes to defending the civil liberties of all Americans, so when a Black Lives Matter (BLM) mob surrounded him and his wife upon leaving the 2020 RNC convention, it came as a shock. Paul has worked on justice reform bills, supported families who were wrongfully abused by those in power, and has fought against civil asset forfeiture and numerous accounts of police brutality, government overreach and color of law abuses.

He has also lived through multiple acts of politically-motivated violence. In Virginia in 2017, he was shot at and watched colleagues be shot down when a crazed leftist opened fire on a baseball field at a charity fundraiser. In his hometown of Kentucky, he suffered a blindside attack from a neighbor that ultimately broke his ribs.

Rand Paul and his wife remain calm as they are surrounded, threatened by BLM mob

Right now, Senator Paul is thankful that D.C. police were there to protect him and his wife from a mob of roughly one hundred BLM demonstrators who shoved at the police to get to him. Paul was headed to his hotel after attending Trump's presidential nomination acceptance speech. Despite being surrounded by a threatening mob, Paul and his wife remained calm.

At one point, Paul had to hold up an officer as he was nearly shoved down by the mob. One thug attempted to break through Paul’s security detail while others shouted them down and impeded their movement. Police formed a wall around Paul and his wife, Kelley Paul as they made their way from the White House. Thankfully the Senator and his wife were unharmed.

The next morning, Paul wrote, "Just got attacked by an angry mob of over 100, one block away from the White House. "Thank you to @DCPoliceDept for literally saving our lives from a crazed mob."

The BLM continues to gain strength by burning, looting, and threatening people, while being praised as a peaceful movement by the traitorous democratic party and their media allies.

“It was horrific,” Paul said in an interview with Fox News. “They’re attempting to push the police over to get to me, so at one point they push a policeman backwards, he stumbles and he’s trying to catch his balance and I catch the back of his flak jacket to stabilize him to make sure he’s OK because he’s our defense.

“If he’s down, the mob’s loose on us,” said Paul. The attacks occurred after midnight as BLM demonstrators threatened multiple RNC attendees and provoked brawls with police officers.  A crowd of BLM assailants swarmed D.C. police when they tried to make an arrest.

“I truly believe this with every fiber of my being, had they gotten at us they would have gotten us to the ground, we might not have been killed, might just have been injured by being kicked in the head, or kicked in the stomach until we were senseless,” Paul said Friday morning.

This is the kind of America the democrats continue to cheer on, one where terror is used as a political weapon -- to shame, pressure and attack political opposition in order to get whatever they want. Mob rule is now permeating America's streets, swallowing democracy and the rule of law, as street tyranny continues to terrorize the republic.
