Defund the hate-spewing media by ending direct-to-consumer drug ads
By Ethan Huff // Jul 27, 2020

To fix the problems in society that lead to so-called social injustices – such as the recent George Floyd incident – the leftist mob is insistent that all police departments need to be defunded. But arguably the biggest purveyor of hate that is stirring up the masses to commit heinous acts of violence and destruction against others is the mainstream media, which for the past nearly 25 years has been funded mainly by direct-to-consumer (DTC) drug advertising.

Brighteon.TV

It 1997, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) made the decision to allow pharmaceutical companies to advertise their latest and greatest drugs directly to consumers on television and radio, creating millions of new drug customers while financially paving the way for the media to take control of all news narratives.

Now, whenever something big is said to happen in the world, the Big Pharma-fed media whips everyone up into a flurry, one of the most recent examples of this again being the George Floyd riots and looting, which the media dubbed as "protests." Were it not for this well-funded media machine pumping the nation and world with nonstop race propaganda, most people probably would have moved on with their lives by now.

Because of direct-to-consumer drug advertising, however, the Big Media conglomerates have an endless gravy train to continue inciting more riots and violence, and very little can be done to stop them. This is the nature of Big Pharma-Big Media collusion, which is a much bigger threat to people's freedoms and liberties than any police department.

Prior to 1997, drug companies were not permitted to sell drugs directly to consumers in the way they do now. Only doctors who kept up on the latest drugs and knew how they worked had the legal right to suggest and dispense pharmaceuticals, and only on a case-by-case basis.

In today's world, however, drug advertising is everywhere, as is all of the drug cash that allows the mainstream media to create false narratives and spread endless propaganda for pay. All of that drug money is what keeps the media brainwashing going strong, and that keeps the people who believe it in a constant state of fear and anger over everything being shown to them.

Repealing Smith-Mundt and banning DTC advertising would go a long way in crippling the mainstream media's propaganda campaigns

A 2006 report by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) determined that the FDA has utterly failed to properly regulate DTC advertising all these years, which has turned millions of Americans into certifiable drug addicts. But nothing has thus far been done to mitigate the problem, which means the fake news brigade, rife with cash from DTC drug advertising, is as strong as ever.

There is also the problem of the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012, an Obama administration modification of the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that basically legalized the spread of fake news propaganda over the mainstream media airwaves.

Ever since Smith-Mundt has been in place, the largest media conglomerates have been churning out endless fake news stories aimed at inciting division and unrest throughout society. And again, they continue to have the funds to do this thanks to the Big Pharma advertising that appears at every commercial break.

Keep in mind that Big Pharma is one of the largest, wealthiest, and most powerful industries in the world. It also remains one of the most aggressive lobbying forces in Washington, D.C., controlling how regulatory bodies like the FDA handle the new drug approval process.

In other words, Big Pharma, Big Media, and Big Government are essentially the same, all working together to sow discord, angst, and ultimately violence among an already restless society that is desperately looking for "change." The media and the government act as the mouthpieces for this agenda, while the drug industry provides funding via DTC drug advertising.

Prior to Smith-Mundt, by the way, the mainstream media was actually prohibited from spreading the type of government propaganda we constantly witness today. And prior to 1997 when DTC drug advertising suddenly became a thing, most Americans took care of themselves through nutrition and exercise, and were none the wiser as to the latest pharma pills or vaccines coming down the pipeline in the interest of "public health."

Unless Smith-Mundt and DTC drug advertising laws are fully repealed, there will be no end to the mainstream media constantly stirring the pot and causing chaos with fake news. Expect to see many more plandemics, fake shootings, anti-police narratives, and other hysterical stories blasted at you 24/7 until eventually the country is left in total ruin.

You can also expect to see continued media censorship of truth in general, which is exactly what is now happening with the new Black Lives Matter (BLM) "autonomous zone" that is being set up in Portland. As we reported, violent BLM terrorists are turning Portland into a war zone, and the DTC drug ad-funded media is pretending as though it is nothing but a “peaceful protest.”
