This is the new policy over at Facebook, at least, which has removed some 220 groups that identify with what is known as "boogaloo," or a movement that some say is pushing for a second civil war. The Facebook-owned Instagram platform has likewise been purged of some 95 boogaloo-associated accounts.
In addition to these, about 400 other groups that may be loosely affiliated with boogaloo have also been axed from Facebook for supposedly violating its policies concerning organized violence. This is in spite of the fact that Facebook has no problem with Antifa and BLM terrorists using the platform to harm and kill others, as well as share "artwork" depicting police officers being murdered by "protesters."
"The groups are comprised of mostly libertarian, anti-government, pro-gun individuals who oppose federal restrictions on firearms and what they believe to be authoritarian encroachments by the government," writes Lucas Nolan for Breitbart News about boogaloo. "The movement has strong ties to many current and former military members."
To see what Facebook and Twitter do support, check out the following episode of The Health Ranger Report with Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, which shows BLM terrorists shooting people inside their vehicles:
To be fair, Facebook has indicated that it is only banning boogaloo groups that are actively seeking to commit violence, differentiating them from "the broader and loosely-affiliated boogaloo movement" at large. This, the company believes, justifies its censorship efforts.
"Today we are designating a violent U.S.-based anti-government network as a dangerous organization and banning it from our apps," a spokesperson from Facebook wrote in a statement. "This network uses the term boogaloo but is distinct from the broader and loosely-affiliated boogaloo movement because it actively seeks to commit violence."
Fair enough. But why, then, has Facebook failed to take action against the contingents of BLM and Antifa that are not just actively seeking to commit violence, but visibly committing it in cities throughout America? Right this moment in Portland, Oregon, as one prominent example, BLM and Antifa terrorists are destroying monuments and burning down buildings – why are they allowed to have a presence on Facebook?
As far as we can tell, Facebook has yet to publicly condemn the violent contingents of both BLM and Antifa that seek to overthrow the current American system through violence. Facebook also continues to allow the more radical elements of these two groups to congregate on its platform and conspire to commit more acts of violence.
"Facebook has not banned Antifa from its platform despite it also being a group organizing violence," Nolan adds. "In fact, Facebook censored a Trump campaign ad denouncing Antifa violence."
This just goes to show the anti-conservative bias that exists at Facebook, as well as all throughout Big Tech. It is never okay for conservatives to talk about doing what our Founding Fathers advised when confronted with big government tyranny, and yet the far-left fascist contingents are free to say and do as they please without consequence.
"They need to file a lawsuit against Facebook for defamation, breach of contract, fraud in the inducement, etc.," wrote one Breitbart News commenter about how those being censored on Facebook might want to respond.
