INSANITY: Walmart doesn’t believe all lives matter, stops selling “All Lives Matter” items because only BLACK lives matter to corporate America
By Arsenio Toledo // Jul 02, 2020

After they received significant public backlash online, retail giant Walmart announced on June 30 that they will no longer sell any products that sport the phrase “All Lives Matter.”

Walmart is the largest retailer in the United States. It caused controversy online after some people found that a third-party business, Old Glory, was selling a variety of $20 T-shirts through Walmart's website that featured phrases such as “Blue Lives Matter,” a reference to the uniform worn by police officers, “Police Lives Matter” and “All Lives Matter.” They even had some humorous T-shirt designs that said “Irish Lives Matter” and “Drunk Lives Matter.”

The backlash began erupting after one user on Twitter posted a screenshot of Walmart's website with the “All Lives Matter” shirt with the comment “Are you kidding me @walmartcanada??? Disgusting. Do better.” Other users started following suit, expressing their discontent with comments such as “Why make it easier for the racists to get their clothing?”

After initially promising to investigate the situation, Walmart later announced that it was dropping its partnership with Old Glory, and that their website will no longer sell any of their T-shirts, as well as any other products sold by other third-party sellers that feature the phrase “All Lives Matter.” They said they came to this decision after hearing concerns from their customers, as well as their employees. Walmart stated that the phrase “All Lives Matter” is insulting to George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement. (Related: Despite the SURGE in coronavirus cases in the United States, Black Lives Matter is still organizing rallies, marches and RIOTS.)

In a statement, Walmart said that “We fundamentally do believe that all lives do matter and every individual deserves respect. However, as we listened, we came to understand that the way some, but not all, people are using the phrase ‘All Lives Matter’ in the current environment intentionally minimized the focus on the painful reality of racial inequity.”

This move comes after Walmart Canada made a similar move to get rid of all “All Lives Matter” merchandise in their online stores on June 25. The previous week, Walmart announced that all their stores in Mississippi will no longer be displaying the state's flag as long as it features the Confederate emblem.

Many other companies riding the virtue signaling bandwagon

As the engineered riots organized by Antifa and the Black Lives Matter movement continue, many other companies are responding to criticism from demonstrators that some of their products and practices are supposedly either outdated or racist.

Companies like Amazon, Starbucks and McDonald's have begun prominently displaying pro-Black Lives Matter messages and slogans on their websites and social media pages, as well as publicizing plans on how they can combat “racial inequality.”

Starbucks was previously hesitant to support the domestic terrorist movement, but after significant public backlash over their policy of baristas wearing Black Lives Matter clothing, they and other companies like fast food chain Taco Bell and amusement park Six Flags Over Georgia have since reversed policies that either prevented employees from wearing supportive clothing or stopping customers from entering their property while sporting Black Lives Matter apparel for fear of inciting an altercation.

Skincare company L'Oreal even went further by promising to replace supposedly racist terms on their products such as “white” and “fair” with more neutral identifiers like “even” and “glow.”

Vermont-based ice cream company Ben & Jerry's went even further than that in their virtue signaling crusade, posting on their social media that America needs to “dismantle White supremacy.” The company has aligned itself with the Black Lives Matter movement since it started gaining traction in the mainstream back in 2016. Since then, they have regularly released messages about how their customers need to educate themselves about “systemic racism.”
