Police state tyranny continues as Facebook bans pages that criticize dirty cops for brutality and planting drugs
By Ethan Huff // Aug 06, 2019

It's apparently now a digital "crime" to try to hold police officers accountable for their behavior, as tech overlords like Facebook and Twitter ratchet up their censorship efforts against liberty-centric pages like Police The Police and Free Thought Project – both of which, prior to being axed, emphasized the importance of law enforcement accountability.

It was roughly nine months ago when the tech cabal first targeted these two particular pages, which together boasted more than five million followers, along with multiple other pages such as Cop Block and Filming Cops. Photography is Not a Crime, another popular police accountability page, similarly had its "reach" scaled back by Facebook, limiting the number of users that were able to access it.

Since that time, several of the pages, including Police The Police, had tried to create "2.0" versions of their pages, only to once again have them pulled by Big Tech for violating various unspecified and undefined "community standards" and "page policies."

According to reports, the only reason given by Facebook to Police the Police 2.0 for this second purge was that: "It looks like recent activity on your Page doesn't follow the Facebook Page Policies," followed by instructions about how to file an appeal if "you think your Page was unpublished in error."

Police The Police 2.0's administrators have attempted to do just that, seeking specific answers from Facebook as to why their page was removed, only to receive silence in response. In other words, Facebook's "page policies" are whatever Facebook wants them to be at any given point in time, as it suits the company's agenda to silence free speech.

"Before it was deleted last year, Police the Police was the largest police accountability group on the internet and now, despite making back a lot of that ground, it is no longer," writes Matt Agorist for The Washington Standard.

"For years, we have exposed criminal cops and shined light into the darkness where other media outlets were scared to go. Police the Police and these other pages taught people how to flex their rights, film the police, and to not be afraid to stand up to the police state."

Blue Lives Matter Laws grant police officers special protected status under the law, further eroding the ability of ordinary citizens to hold them accountable for their crimes

It's important to keep in mind that neither Police The Police nor any of the other pages in question had ever encouraged violence, division, or even hatred towards the police. The purpose of these pages was actually to promote a pro-police message of holding corrupt police officers accountable for their crimes, so as to encourage the public to respect and trust law enforcement.

As Natural News has reported on many times over the years, police abuses are more common than many people think; they are committed against people of all skin colors; and often go unchecked due to partisan politics – even though police accountability is a bipartisan issue.

Consequently, police state tyranny is only continuing to swell, including online where even the mere mention of problems with law enforcement is rapidly being assigned "hate crime" status – "hate crimes" being something that President Trump wants to see punished with the death penalty.

"Unless we fight back in the form of sharing information deemed 'wrong think' by the censors, this problem will only continue to get worse," Agorist warns.

"We must continue to alert our fellow humans to this censorship before it becomes the norm. We must use this recent purge as our Streisand moment and turn this massive and blatant act of censorship around as a tool to expose the tyrants behind it."
