According to the Daily Beast, Epstein stands accused this time around of running a sex trafficking operation involving scores of minors in New York and Florida between 2002 and 2005:
Saturday’s arrest by the FBI-NYPD Crimes Against Children Task Force comes about 12 years after the 66-year-old financier essentially got a slap on the wrist for allegedly molesting dozens of underage girls in Florida.
As Natural News reported, citing additional reporting in 2015, flight logs showed that Dershowitz and Clinton traveled with Epstein aboard his plane to various destinations, including a Caribbean island Epstein owns, in the early 2000s — around the same time that Epstein was allegedly involved in sex trafficking, according to the latest federal charges.
The Washington Examiner noted further:
Epstein’s arrest comes after a New York federal appeals court ordered last week the release of 2,000 pages of judicial documents related to Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell, who are suspected of taking part in an international sex trafficking operation.
As to his previous ‘conviction,’ about a decade ago Epstein reached an agreement with prosecutors including now-Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta in which the billionaire pleaded guilty to sexually abusing and dating underage girls. In exchange for his plea, he served 13 months in prison, became a registered sex offender, and paid victims identified in the case restitution. Some of his victims were reportedly as young as 14 years old.
But in February, a federal judge ruled that the plea agreement Epstein reached was an unconstitutional infringement on the victims’ rights, and as such, the records in the case were ordered unsealed.
The U.K.’s Daily Mail reported in January 2015 that Dershowitz and Clinton were on many flights with Epstein and anonymous women whose full names were not revealed:
The flight records, obtained by Gawker, also show former President Bill Clinton rode on Epstein's jet at least 11 times, and often with two of Epstein's female associates believed to have provided the dozens of underage girls to their boss and his well-connected friends.
Other reports are attempting to link Epstein to POTUS Donald Trump. As reported by Business Insider, a photo taken at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago resort shows the future president standing with then-girlfriend/future wife Melania Knauss next to Epstein and Maxwell.
The mainstream media is repeating a quote from Trump at the time praising Epstein as a “good guy” and someone who likes younger women.
“I've known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side,” the future president said according to a New Yorker profile of Epstein in 2002.
Business Insider also insinuates there is some sort of nefarious link between the president’s Mar-a-Lago resort and the recruitment of underage girls by Epstein:
Trump's association with Epstein extends into allegations that women were lured directly into sex trafficking from Mar-A-Lago, with one woman claiming Epstein's then-girlfriend recruited her for prostitution as a 15-year-old when she worked as a locker room attendant at Trump's resort that Epstein frequented.
Given the incessant Trump hate inherent in the ‘mainstream’ media and the number of times various outlets have published fake news regarding him and his administration, forgive us if we don’t leap on the ‘Trump is guilty’ bandwagon right away.
As for Epstein, his history involving sexual misconduct with underage girls is well-established, though he does deserve the presumption of innocence until proven guilty.
