The latest round of tech censorship is the legacy media’s last desperate gasp to try to control the conversation and cling to revenues
By JD Heyes // Jun 19, 2019

You may have read in recent days that video platform behemoth YouTube demonetized conservative comedian and podcast host Steven Crowder, of “Louder with Crowder” fame, because he dared to poke fun at an openly gay Left-wing activist posing as a journalist.

As noted by Big League Politics:

YouTube’s hate speech policies now forbid users from discussing the immigration status of individuals, causing some to wonder whether news coverage mentioning illegal immigrants who are convicted criminals or suspected of committing crimes will result in a ban.

This comes after YouTube “relented to gay Vox journalist Carlos Maza’s ceaseless ranting and agreed to demonetize [conservative comedian and commentator] Steven Crowder’s YouTube channel, because according to Maza, Crowder was mean to him,” the site reported further.

The fact of the matter is, Maza is openly gay, according to Tom Luongo writing at Zero Hedge earlier this month. He “uses the twitter handle @gaywonk and regularly spews nothing but thinly-veiled violent rhetoric at anyone slightly to the right of Berthold Brecht.”

So again — he’s an activist much more than he’s a journalist. Crowder’s only ‘crime’ is that he was describing Maza in terms that Maza himself uses, but in a derisive, mocking manner. So, because of that, Maza — like so many authoritarian Left-wing journalist-activists — doesn’t believe Crowder should be able to earn a living doing something he is obviously very good at doing.

Maza thinks he should be able to, though, no matter how many straight conservatives he blasts and offends.

“This is now considered harassment by emotionally-stunted man-babies,” writes Luongo. “And I’m not talking about Maza, here. I’m talking about YouTube.”

Initially, YouTube refused to punish Crowder in any way, but after Maza whined the platform changed its rules (see above) so it could punish him. And it did.

Derek Utley, a social media pro and creator of X Strategies, a company that actually represents a number of prominent conservative figures, wrote — ironically — on Facebook: “If you discuss or criticize someone’s immigration status, YouTube will Demonetize you as it is now hate speech to discuss someone’s immigration status.” (Related: The REAL speech Nazis: YouTube’s new censorship purge BANS videos that talk about illegal immigrants.)

The tech giants will continue this behavior until Americans get tired of it

Make no mistake, the social media behemoths are not, repeat not, going to change their tactics — banning, censoring, deplatforming conservatives — because a) they believe they have a right to do so; and b) they’ve not gotten any pushback from government or the courts that tells them otherwise.

And why not? They are backed by some of the globe’s richest fascists such as George Soros, who backs other fascists like David Brock, the founder of the far-Left Media Matters for America organization. Their objective is plain, pure, and simple: To silence all opposition to their extreme Marxist, Leftist agenda.

Their intention is to do what King George of England did to the American colonists before the revolution: Rule over them, not allow them self-governance in a country where information flows freely and people can decide for themselves what they want to believe.

If we had a legitimate “mainstream media” that existed as our founders envisioned — purveyors of news and information with the aim of holding all powerful people to account — then it would’t matter what the social media fascists did. They could ban whomever they wanted and censor whatever information they decided to censor; their power would be very limited because the legitimate news industry would be dutifully keeping the country informed.

As it stands, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Google are all working with the corrupt Left-wing legacy media to destroy free speech, defund conservatives, spread propaganda instead of information, and keep our country divided and at war with itself.

Will they succeed? That depends a lot upon whether enough Americans finally get fed up with being told what they can and cannot hear, read, or see.
