Citizens across America are flatly REFUSING to follow gun magazine bans… lawmakers and tyrants nullified
By Vicki Batts // Apr 10, 2019

Gun control fanatics are getting a slap in the face, as liberty-loving, gun-toting Americans refuse to comply with tyrannical magazine bans. In New Jersey, over a million gun owners have taken a stand by ignoring the state's new high-capacity magazine ban. Power-hungry liberal politicians are clearly out of touch with reality if they expect law-abiding citizens to simply hand over their lawfully obtained munitions because Big Government said so.

From coast to coast, Americans are standing against tyranny by refusing to comply with overzealous gun magazine laws. In notoriously leftist states like California, Connecticut, New York and Vermont, citizens are ignoring government calls to turn in gun magazines, and many activists are taking steps to have magazine bans recalled entirely.

Indeed, there is nothing more American than rebelling against a government that no longer has your best interests at heart. Gun owners in overwhelmingly liberal states may as well be chanting, "No confiscation without representation."

Refuse to comply

As Ammoland reports, citizens around the country are rejecting gun magazine bans almost entirely -- no one is turning in their high-capacity magazines. New Jersey rolled out their magazine ban six months ago, and in that time, not a single citizen has offered up their munitions.

In the nearby states of New York and Connecticut, only about three percent of gun owners complied with similar "ban and confiscate" efforts.

Further north, the Vermont Supreme Court has just given the go-ahead to a lawsuit against the state's ban on standard-capacity magazines. The measure was signed into law in the spring of 2018, and bans "long-gun magazines with a capacity greater than 10 rounds and handgun magazines with a capacity greater than 15."

And in California, yet another unconstitutional law on magazine capacity was met with opposition -- and has now been struck down. Now, gun retailers are lining their shelves with high-capacity magazines so citizens can stock up before the tyrants come up with another ban.

Perhaps Big Government should stop treating law-abiding citizens like criminals -- and stop expecting the (supposedly) free people of America to turn over legally obtained possessions.

Gun control isn't about guns

The liberal left likes to poke fun at gun-owners and say we're all "conspiracy theorists" for believing that the government wants to take our guns. Amy Schumer even does a stand-up bit about it. "No one is coming to take your guns, " they say -- and you can keep your doctor, too.

In the state of Maryland, police have already killed an innocent gun owner for refusing to hand over his weapon. As The Baltimore Sun reports, Gary Willis was shot and killed by police in November 2018. They showed up at his home early in the morning, to confiscate his weapon using an "emergency protective order."

Willis, understandably, did not want to hand over his weapon. The Sun reports:

One of the officers struggled to take the gun from Willis, and during the struggle the gun fired but did not strike anyone, police said. At that point, the other officer fatally shot Willis, police said.

Police also said that neither of the officers was injured. Michele Willis, a relative who also lived in the home, commented, "They didn't need to do what they did."

In Maryland, "family, police or others" can reportedly request "emergency protective orders," seemingly at any time.

In other words, anyone can just put in a request for your constitutional right to be upended "temporarily" any time they want. Under this scheme, the target has virtually no recourse. You don't even get to go to court and stand before a jury; the police just come and take your possessions away -- and they expect you to go along with it, or else.  Make no mistake, this isn't about "protection," its about power, as all gun control initiatives are.
