Simply put, Don Lemon is a far better liar than he is a journalist.
There are reports nearly on a daily basis now detailing how Republicans and Trump supporters are harangued, threatened, or physically confronted and/or assaulted by angry Leftists, all of which have come after a slew of GOP lawmakers including Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., were nearly slaughtered in the summer of 2017 by a far-Left Bernie Sanders supporter (where were you on that one, Don?).
Now, there is a new threat of violence to add to the growing list. Andrew Torba, the founder of social media platform Gab, says the corporate “mainstream” media is responsible for inciting violence against his family earlier this week after his parents were the targets of an alleged domestic terrorist incident, Infowars reports.
“Just got a call from my parents – who are not home – their neighbor smelled gas, called the fire company. Someone turned on the propane tank on my parent’s gas grill, turned the burner on, and let the propane leak out. This is terrorism, incited by the media. Pray for us,” he tweeted from Gab’s official Twitter account.

The alleged targeting incident took place after Torba said in an interview with Infowars earlier this week that his family had been receiving death threats after his social media site received widespread criticism following the mass shooting at The Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pa.
The alleged shooter, Robert Bowers, had a Gab account and reportedly posted several anti-Semitic messages there, along with criticisms of POTUS Donald Trump. (Related: YouTube shooter far-Left activist who ‘raged’ at company’s censorship and filters.)
In a follow-on Twitter post, Torba included links to media reports that used photos of him and his wife alongside Bowers and, in one instance, Republican state Sen. Dan Bishop of North Carolina, who reportedly invested in Gab.
“Now the media is going after my wife and including both her and I alongside an image of the alleged terrorist. May God have mercy on the souls of these people. Pray for us,” Torba wrote.

The website went offline last week following the shooting after having some issues with domain registration firms and payment processors. But Torba said the site will be back online before the midterm elections on Nov. 6.
Naturally, the same media that is inciting violence against the Gab founder and his family are not reporting on the threats and alleged acts of terrorism that have been directed towards them. Don Lemon included because, you know, he can’t see it happening (because he’s not looking).
Meantime, Torba remains defiant and pledges that no matter what, the site will be back online and will remain the bastion of free speech – in the mold our founder fathers intended – that it has been since it first went online. That means people will be able to say whatever they want to say, as before, without any fear of having it removed, taken down, or being banned.
No doubt anything and everything that is posted there will “offend” someone. That’s what it means to have free speech – the right to say something even if it is offensive to someone else.
“Gab has spent the past 48 hours proudly working with the DOJ and FBI to bring justice to an alleged terrorist. Because of the data we provided, they now have plenty of evidence for their case. In the midst of this Gab has been no-platformed by essential internet infrastructure providers at every level. We are the most censored, smeared, and no-platformed startup in history, which means we are a threat to the media and to the Silicon Valley Oligarchy,” said a post on the site as it retools and prepares for a reboot.
“Gab isn’t going anywhere.”
