Pope Francis’s disgusting history of protecting pedophiles and smearing abuse victims
By JD Heyes // Sep 18, 2018

The Catholic Church continues to rip itself apart from within following a series of sex scandals over the past several years involving pedophile priests and even now its leader, Pope Francis, seems incapable of admitting or dealing with.

Breitbart News notes that following the latest allegations of sex abuse by priests, Francis “doubled down” on his previous criticism of accusers, insisting they are “fruit of a diabolical spirit” and “that the only legitimate accusation is against oneself,” the site reported.

What’s even more shocking is the pope’s complicity in hiding sexual clergy sexual abuse before he was chosen to lead the Catholic faithful.

In a separate report, Breitbart noted that in 2010, when he was Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, head of the Archdiocese of Buenos Aries in his home country of Argentina, the Pope commissioned a four-book study that essentially attacked victims of sexual abuse while defending a priest who had been convicted of molesting a teenage boy.

Breitbart reported:

Francis…asked a lawyer and jurist by the name of Marcelo Sancinetti to carry out a more than 2,600-page study encompassing four volumes for the Argentinian Episcopal Conference to discredit the alleged victims of Father Julio César Grassi.

The volumes described the victims as “false accusers” and claimed their accusations were just ways of projecting their own sexual desires on Grassi, who was convicted of sexually abusing a boy at his Happy Children Foundation — an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless children — and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Why would the future pope do that?

At the time Grassi was considered to be a national celebrity in Argentina who had struck up relationships with wealthy, powerful figures throughout the country – though his victims were dirt poor and were living in his homeless shelters via the Happy Children Foundation, “which generated millions of dollars in donations each year,” Breitbart reported.

Lawyer Juan Pablo Gallego, who represented Grassi’s victims, told local Argentine media that as archbishop of his archdiocese, Francis commissioned the four-book series which was called, “Studies on the Grassi case” in a bid to influence justices on Argentina’s Supreme Court to proclaim him innocent. (Related: The Pope is a pedophilia denialist and an affront to God; allows DEMONS to rape little children.)

“The books arrived to the judges of the [Supreme] Court, presumably delivered by supposed emissaries of Francis,” Gallego told Spanish language Infobae. “What is certain is that we determined that they were received by every judge that had to decide on the Grassi case. They weren’t only delivered to the Supreme Court, where they are held, for example, by Ricardo Lorenzetti; they were also delivered to the judges of the provincial appeals court.”

He added: “I am certain that the judges of the Supreme Court have these books and that they came to them in the name of the Church.”

‘Not even a letter’

Of course, the books were never released to the public – why would transparency be in order with the faithful masses? – but the last book in the series did contain information about who commissioned the study, according to El Pais.

“With this [volume], these ‘Studies on the Grassi case’ are concluded, and the labor assigned by the Argentinean Episcopal Conference, in particular by Cardinal Bergoglio, then its president and today His Holiness Francis,” the text reportedly said on page one.

Francis has also been criticized this week for claiming that no abuse happened during his tenure. Several victims of abuse have now come forward and have written him letters providing details of the incidents they suffered while he was archbishop. Worse, they said he has not even offered to meet with them and has reportedly not answered their letters, either.

“He receives all the celebrities, like Leonardo DiCaprio, and opens his door to them. And for us, not even a quick letter to say he was sorry,” one of the victims told a reporter with the French news program Cash Investigation in 2017.
