Over the weekend ABC’s late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, the Alt-Left poster boy for all that’s wrong with our country, got into a heated Twitter feud with Fox News’ Sean Hannity after the latter outed Kimmel as “Harvey Weinstein, Jr.” for his perverted skits some years ago.
In the back-and-forth that ensued, Kimmel took it several notches lower by making a series of homophobic inferences involving Hannity and President Donald J. Trump, the latter of whom has accomplished more in his lifetime than Kimmel would likely accomplish in three.
As reported by Breitbart News, Kimmel responded to a Hannity tweet claiming the late-night host had sexually harassed young women, “When your clown makeup rubs off on Trump’s ass, does it make his butt look like a Creamsicle.”
He added: “Don’t worry – just keep tweeting – you’ll get back on top! (or does Trump prefer you on bottom?) Either way, keep your chin up big fella..XO.”
How’s that for class?
Kimmel’s crudity did not go unpunished. Scores on the Twitter sewer took him to task over the homophobic slurs and innuendo.
“YOU THINK YOURE [sic] JUST FEUDING HANNITY, CONGRATS PAL YOU JUST ALIENATED YOUR LGBT VIEWERS,” one user wrote, adding, “I’m physically ill over you making a gay punchline in 2018. With all the hatred out there, this is how you get laughs and RTs [retweets].”
“So, it’s OK for you to make homophobic slurs? What an a**hole,” added another.
Still another hit Kimmel over his liberal hypocrisy. “Haha..is this the part where liberals are OK with sexual orientation jokes as long as it’s about conservatives? Funny stuff.”
There were more responses — some of them very forceful — but you get the trend.
Now, the real question is, what will the elite Left-wing media and entertainment industry do?
Because if we follow the Left-wing media and entertainment industry playbook for conservatives, ABC would have already released a statement distancing itself from the abysmal, thoughtless, “homophobic” comments and announced it would be immediately dropping him from his late-night show.
But of course, ABC won’t be doing that.
His entertainer friends would have already expressed their shock, dismay, and outrage.
But of course, they haven’t.
There would have already been a nationwide campaign to contact his advertisers and have them drop his program.
But of course, there isn’t one.
There would have been an effort launched to ruin Kimmel professionally and financially.
But of course, no such effort has been launched.
None of these things are going to happen to Jimmy Kimmel — like they did against Sean Hannity when he was doing his job as a journalist and following up on a story about the murder of a Democratic National Committee staffer because the findings of the case don’t make sense.
That’s because liberals lack the hypocrisy gene. When it comes to ‘policing’ their own, they are nowhere to be found. When it comes to attacking conservatives for even perceived slights, let alone bona fide cultural fouls, it’s game on.
Kimmel’s a loyal foot soldier in the war against traditionalist America. He’s a proud card-carrying member of the #NeverTrump brigades. But more than anything, he’s just a rotten human being, and Leftists tend to attract, shelter, and protect rotten human beings (Chelsea Handler, I’m looking at you).
In recent days the Left-leaning Atlantic magazine fired conservative writer Kevin Williamson after just a month for tweeting once upon a time that women who have an abortion may deserve the death penalty. He was also attacked by the Left for “insensitive” writings regarding race and gender issues.
But Kimmel’s atrocities are just fine because cultural hypocrisy does not exist on the Left.
