Democrats and their sycophantic supporters in the “mainstream media” continue to denounce the newly-released and highly revealing FISA Memo, savaging Republican lawmakers and President Donald J. Trump because they were brave enough to believe the American people needed to know what was in it.
In an incredible and rare act of transparency, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., the GOP members of his committee, the president and members of his administration sought to ensure that the biggest scandal in our country’s history was laid bare. But for some reason, the same party and media outlets who were once so committed to exposing government corruption in the 1960s and 70s suddenly don’t want anything to do with it.
Because, of course, their party is getting exposed as being the party of corruption, the party of government abuse, the party of winning power at all costs — the same things they have accused Trump and GOP of being.
Fortunately, there are other heroes who should be recognized for bringing this massive scandal to the attention of the people, and there are independent media outlets who should share the credit as well because they’ve all been on this from Day One.
Even before Trump was elected, Natural News founder/editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger and long-time champion of personal freedom, was sounding the alarm about the corrupt Obama regime. After Trump won, Adams alerted readers very early on about the illegal surveillance and spying that the FISA memo proved was taking place. And he’s been tracking the various ways the Deep State — which includes the pretend “mainstream” media — have been working to subvert and undermine Trump ever since.
Fox News’ Sean Hannity was also onto this story very early on, as were a number of his media guests including Circa News investigative reporter Sara A. Carter and The Hill’s John Solomon (the two used to work together at Circa). In fact, Fox News has been the only major news outlet that has been consistently reliable and honest in reporting this massive scandal. The other major outlets have all reported on it either falsely or in a manner that reflects poorly on Trump and well on Democrats (when they weren’t outright protecting Hillary Clinton and Obama officials while peddling the fake Russia-Trump “collusion” narrative).
The Gateway Pundit was also very often out in front of the various aspects of this scandal, ranging from the first reports regarding questions and doubts about the so-called “Trump dossier” to the latest information reported by congressional investigators and lawmakers. My own publication, The National Sentinel, has also been on these various scandal stories from the outset and continues to remain on the front lines of reporting — especially when it comes to tying all of this back to former President Obama. Shortly after we published a story regarding the release of the FISA memo last week, we researched the various ways in which the process of obtaining a FISA court warrant would be something that all presidents, since the court was created via legislation in 1978, would be aware of (hint: They are briefed daily on such actions).
Other publications, including the Washington Times, Breitbart News, and The Daily Caller earned more than just honorable mentions; they, too, were very involved in reporting the truth about what the Obama administration did during the months before the election to essentially “create a crime,” as conservative author, host and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino has noted.
Once again it has been the independent and alternative media that has been the most upfront, truthful, and honest in the reporting of this massive scandal, which proves once again that the corporate “mainstream” media is part of the same swamp Trump is trying to drain.
