After previously banning it, Ohio now says coronavirus patients can use hydroxychloroquine
By Ethan Huff // Aug 04, 2020

In response to the now-banned America's Frontline Doctors "White Coat Summit" event, the state of Ohio tried to ban the use of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), the generic anti-malaria drug that is helping to cure patients from the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). But this ban has since been reversed, allowing sanity to be restored.

In the initial ban, the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (OBP) had actually tried to make it illegal for doctors to prescribe either chloroquine (CQ) or HCQ except for animals. No humans were to be allowed to take it, under the fascist directive, which has since been revoked at the order of Governor Mike DeWine.

"Except as provided in paragraph (C) of this rule, prescriptions issued for chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine for prophylactic use related to COVID-19 or for the treatment of COVID19 are strictly prohibited unless otherwise approved by the board's executive director in consultation with the board president, at which time a resolution shall issue," the ban stated.

"Upon the effective date of this rule, all previous approvals for the use of chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine shall be deemed void and must be approved using the process outlined in this paragraph."

The only exception to this failed ban would have been prescriptions issued as part of "a documented institutional review board-approved clinical trial" to evaluate its safety and efficacy with regard to the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). Allowing actual patients to use it in order to avoid death, however, would have been prohibited.

Leftists screech that coronavirus patients in Ohio now have the freedom to live

Thankfully, Gov. DeWine intervened to stop this madness by ordering the OBP to rescind its ban and allow patients to make care decisions on their own with the guidance of their doctors. This means that sick and dying patients in Ohio will now have the freedom to live, infuriating the left which only believes in masks and vaccines.

"I agree with the statement from Dr. Steven Hahn, Commissioner of @US_FDA, that the decision about prescribing hydroxychloroquine to treat #COVID19 should be between a doctor and a patient," Gov. DeWine tweeted as part of his announcement.

Coronavirus cases plummeting in Ohio

This good news was met by even more good news just days later when new data showing sharp declines in the number of new Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) cases was released.

Fewer Ohioans are testing positive for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), officials say, and fewer people are having to be hospitalized. Perhaps this is because Ohioans still have access to HCQ, which is becoming increasingly more popular with each passing day as a solidly effective remedy.

Try as they might to keep a lid on it, liberals will ultimately fail to control the narrative surrounding HCQ. They will also fail at keeping it from We the People, which do not want to be told which drugs, herbs, or other remedies we are allowed to use for our own health, no matter what "science" says.

"All I know is that it worked for my brother," wrote one Christian Post commenter.

"He was out of the hospital in 2 days, symptom free in 6 days. He survived even having other risk factors. You can bet that the people who say this drug doesn't work will be the first to ask for it if they contract Covid-19. They know the truth."
