It is communist China’s fault that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) was unleashed upon the world, and Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt wants justice to be served.
Schmitt is reportedly suing the Chinese government for its role in suppressing pertinent information about the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) back in December when there may still have been time to stop it from entering and spreading throughout the United States.
In a lawsuit he filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, Schmitt wrote:
“During the critical weeks of the initial outbreak, Chinese authorities deceived the public, suppressed crucial information, arrested whistleblowers, denied human-to-human transmission in the face of mounting evidence, destroyed critical medical research, permitted millions of people to be exposed to the virus, and even hoarded personal protective equipment (‘PPE’) – thus causing a global pandemic that was unnecessary and preventable.”
By mid-to-late December 2019, the lawsuit goes on to state, Chinese health officials already knew about human-to-human transmission of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), but they failed to notify the World Health Organization (WHO) or the United States about it until December 31.
Even when they did finally notify the world that a pandemic had been unleashed, these same Chinese health officials actually denied that human-to-human transmission was possible, which we now know to have been a lie.
“COVID-19 has done irreparable damage to countries across the globe, causing sickness, death, economic disruption, and human suffering,” Schmitt said in a statement.
“In Missouri, the impact of the virus is very real – thousands have been infected and many have died, families have been separated from dying loved ones, small businesses are shuttering their doors, and those living paycheck to paycheck are struggling to put food on their table.”
Beyond this, Schmitt contends, the communist Chinese regime deceived the entire world about the severity of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), as well as its true transmissibility. It also silenced whistleblowers who tried to expose the truth before the virus breached China’s borders.
Listen below to The Health Ranger Report as Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, warns about how the global economy will not just bounce back from this crisis once it ends, assuming it ever does:
All in all, Schmitt is seeking one thing: for communist China to be held to account for its egregious actions in allowing this deadly bioweapon to spread all over the place, damaging economies – possibly permanently – and harming innocent people, many of whom are now having difficulties taking care of their families.
“The Chinese government lied to the world about the danger and contagious nature of COVID-19, silenced whistleblowers, and did little to stop the spread of the disease,” Schmitt says. “They must be held accountable for their actions.”
In his lawsuit, Schmitt notes that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) has had a monumentally negative impact on the people of Missouri. Jobless claims are through the roof and the unemployment rate is skyrocketing, not to mention the serious degree to which the state’s budget has been hit.
Responding to the suit, communist China has called the lawsuit “very absurd,” arguing that there is “no factual and legal basis at all” to its claims.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang and others in the Chinese government vehemently deny any and all accusations that they delayed reporting on the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), or that they tried to conceal the truth in such a way as to harm other nations like the U.S.
