Now even police officers are calling for the arrest of Ilhan Omar after an armed Iranian was caught near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort

For months we’ve watched and listened to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) badmouth President Donald Trump, run down the country that took her and her Somalian family in as refugees, and utter one anti-Semitic comment after another.

Throughout it all, we believed that, while Omar does have First Amendment rights the same as all citizens, she clearly had much animosity and loathing for America, when logically, she should be one of the most grateful of all because we gave her an escape route from her own failed country.

But in recent weeks the tenor and tone of her criticism of Trump and our country changed significantly, in that it got much more strident, more dangerous, more treasonous.

Following President Trump’s decision to take out Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani, the top enabler of terrorism around the Middle East and someone responsible for the deaths of more than 600 American service men and women, Omar’s open siding with the Iranian regime against her own country was tantamount to an act of treason.

Now, there are calls by police officers for the arrest of Omar after an Iranian national was caught — armed — near the Mar-a-Lago resort home of President Donald Trump.

As reported by Law Enforcement Today:

In Palm Beach, FL Friday morning, an Iranian national was arrested about four miles from President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago presidential retreat.

The man, identified as Masoud Yareioeill Zoleh on his passport, was armed with several knives, a machete and a pickax. Zoleh was arrested at Bradley Park, which is on the east end of the Flagler Memorial Bridge, according to Palm Beach police spokesman Michal Ogrodnick.

The popular police publication noted that just days earlier, Omar, a member of the Left-wing socialist “Squad” in Congress, actually called for Iran to target Trump properties. And now that a very real threat has been identified, officers from around the United States are calling for her arrest over allegations she incited violence and is a threat to national security.

Speaking to Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that Soleimani was plotting attacks against several American targets, including, it is believed, U.S. embassies throughout the Middle East.

A disgrace AND national security threat

“We don’t know precisely when—and we don’t know precisely where—but it was real. There was a real opportunity here and there was a real necessity here. We made the right decision. The president made the right call,” he said.

He also supported the president’s contention that the multi-billion dollar payoff given to the Iranians by the Obama administration has helped fund the regime’s terrorist activities in the Middle East, some of which led to the deaths of hundreds of Americans.

“All the things that we are now confronting are a direct result of the resources that the regime had available as a result of that terrible nuclear deal,” Pompeo said.

Despite these threats and realities, Omar — like she always does — took the side of America’s enemies.

“Trump needs to immediately divest from his businesses and comply with the emoluments clause. Iran could threaten Trump hotels ‘worldwide’ and he could provoke war over the loss of revenue from skittish guests. His business interests should not be driving military decision,” she tweeted.

Talk about your dog whistles — yes, those same ones Leftists like her constantly claim that conservatives are using.

As The National Sentinel noted regarding Omar’s criticisms, along with those of her fellow Democrats including some 2020 presidential contenders — all of which amounts to treason:
