Tulsi Gabbard: Criticizing Kamala Harris put me on “secret terrorist watchlist”
By Ramon Tomey // Sep 11, 2024

Former U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) has shared that her criticism of Vice President Kamala Harris has put her on the federal government's "secret terrorist watchlist."

The former congresswoman for the Aloha State recounted details of this ordeal in a video posted Sept. 4 on the X platform. According to her, she was placed on the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Quiet Skies program (QSP) in July. Her inclusion in the QSP came a day after she warned about Harris and the Deep State on the matter of foreign policy during an appearance on "The Ingraham Angle" on Fox News.

"Harris is not knowledgeable or strong enough to stand up to potential adversaries, or just as importantly the unelected warmongers – i.e. the military-industrial complex which profits from the war and the national security state which uses these wars as a pretext to further clamp down on our freedom," Gabbard wrote on X following her July Fox News appearance.

"Like [President Joe] Biden, she will simply be their puppet. We need a commander-in-chief strong enough to take charge. [Former President Donald] Trump will not be anyone's puppet – that's why the Deep State will do everything possible to keep him out of the Oval Office."

However, Gabbard became aware that something was amiss when she and her husband were being patted down extensively when they would travel – with the more stringent security measure beginning on July 23. It was only after several whistleblowers from the Federal Air Marshal Service disclosed the information to the Air Marshal National Council (AMNC) that the full details emerged.

UncoverDC reported on the whistleblowers' disclosures to the AMNC. According to them, Gabbard was being trailed by "two explosive-detection canine teams, one Transportation Security Specialist-Explosives, one plainclothes TSA supervisor and three federal air marshals on every flight she boards." Following the disclosures being made public, news of the former congresswoman being placed on the QSP broke out.

According to LifeSiteNews, the QSP is "a surveillance initiative the government uses to monitor potential domestic terrorists." But Gabbard is far from being a terrorist, having served in Congress from 2013 to 2021. She left the Democratic Party in 2022, becoming an independent.

Democratic Party deems critics of its policy as "terrorists"

Gabbard took to X when news of her inclusion in the QSP broke out, reminding voters that the current administration engaged in politically motivated targeting of ordinary Americans – including herself.

"The Harris-Biden regime has now labeled me a domestic terrorist. Why? They see me as a threat to their power," she said in a video posted on the social media platform.

"The Harris-Biden administration and Democrat elite have spent years weaponizing our law enforcement, national security state – even enlisting the help of their friends in Big Tech and the mainstream propaganda media – to retaliate against those who dare to criticize their acting and their policies."

Several Republican lawmakers spoke out against Gabbard's inclusion in the QSP, including Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan – chairman of the House Judiciary Committee – and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul. Four GOP lawmakers in the Hawaii House of Representatives also denounced the TSA's "harassment" of Gabbard in a letter.

The senator for the Bluegrass State and ranking member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee previously sent a letter to the TSA calling Gabbard's targeting "troubling allegations." But Gabbard herself told Tucker Carlson that the TSA failed to comply with Paul's request.

The news of Gabbard being surveilled by the TSA came days before Trump and Harris faced off in their first presidential debate on Sept. 10. The former Hawaii congresswoman has reportedly been helping the real estate mogul prepare.

According to LifeSiteNews, Harris and Gabbard previously faced off during the 2020 Democratic primary debates. The then-congresswoman for Hawaii called out the then-California senator's hypocritical stance on marijuana laws. Trump recently announced that Gabbard, alongside Robert F. Kennedy Jr., will be joining his transition team if he wins in November.
