Campus “tolerance” on parade as WHITE or STRAIGHT students banned from LGBTQ “safe space”

The Gender and Sexuality Center for Queer and Trans Life at the University of Minnesota is reportedly now offering a program known as “Tongues Untied” that exists to connect students, staff, faculty and the surrounding community in the Twin Cities, by holding discussion groups centered around race, sexuality and gender, focusing specifically on how these things impact people’s lives. But the program isn’t for everyone, as apparently only “colored” people are invited to join.

As reported by Campus Reform, which gathered this information directly from the University of Minnesota website, Tongues Untied is reserved exclusively for “People of Color who identify as LGBTQIA and/or Same-Gender-Loving.” This clearly means that people with fairer skin who are attracted to the opposite sex, and who embrace their natural biological gender, aren’t allowed to attend.

Using taxpayer funds, a good percentage of which is levied from the very same straight and white people living in Minnesota who are being actively excluded from the program, the University of Minnesota says it’s all good because the program features “social and educational gatherings for U of M students,” “discussions and panels for local public school Gay-Straight Alliances,” and collaborations with “local community organizations of color.” It also clearly indicates that whites need not apply – a situation similar to what recently took place at The Claremont Colleges in California.

A disclaimer posted on the Tongues Untied website reads:

For our allies: we do appreciate your voices and commitment to dismantling racism and homophobia; however, please note that this is a space created for LGBTQIA and/or same-gender-loving people of color.

Not just a peer group: U of M endorses racism against white people who aren’t homosexual

Anyone who visits the program’s page will quickly see that its entire premise is centered around excluding white people who aren’t gay. This is racism and heterophobia, plain and simple. And while Tongues Untied is presented as simply being a peer group made up of students, and not an official program of U of M, a closer look reveals that the school openly endorses the agenda of this radical hate group.

A promotional video put out by Tongues Untied, which is available through U of M’s Office for Equity & Diversity on its official YouTube channel, features Jason Jackson, a “Student Services Professional” from U of M – Twin Cities, explaining what the program entails.

He states that it’s “a discussion group for transgender, lesbian, gay, bisexual, same-gender loving, and two-spirit people of color.”

If a campus group for Europeans who are straight were to suddenly emerge at U of M, it would never be mentioned by a school spokesperson in a video like this (let alone be allowed to exist in the first place). A “safe space” for white people who are tired of being vilified based on their skin color would itself be declared racist and driven off campus. But Tongues Untied? No problem.

This is the hypocrisy of the social justice warrior (SJW) mentality that victimizes everyone except whites, while simultaneously blaming whites for being the victimizers. Such blatant racism is gradually becoming the norm on college campuses today, including at public universities like U of M that are using plenty of white taxpayer dollars to perpetuate such hate.

When approached by Campus Reform for comment about this via its Gender and Sexuality Center for Queer and Trans Life, U of M failed to provide a response. As of this writing, not a single faculty member or person in charge at U of M has even attempted to explain away why a racist and heterophobic group like Tongues Untied is allowed to exist on its campus, let alone receive endorsements and funding from its own taxpayer-funded coffers.
