Even on a good day, far-left Democrat Nancy Pelosi says a lot of off-the-wall things. That’s politics as usual.
But the U.S. House Minority Leader is raising eyebrows with a series of erratic statements and an apparent inability to focus at times.
The House speaker when Democrats controlled the chamber from 2007 to 2011, Pelosi has represented a San Francisco-area district for 30 years and is still holding on to power, although some in her caucus are becoming restive, particularly after four special-election losses to the GOP.
In a recent appearance at the 92nd Street Y in New York City, she suffered what The American Mirror calls “multiple brain freezes” during a speech when her commentary seemed all over the map.
Pelosi also has a habit of referring to President Donald Trump as “President Bush,” most recently in an interview where she leveled more criticism about the pending Obamacare repeal-and-replace legislation. (RELATED: Read more about cognitive function at Brain.news.)
All the way back in August 2014, actor James Woods wondered on Twitter whether Nancy Pelosi “may actually be mentally ill. Her behavior is becoming unhinged. This is no laughing matter,” after she strangely confronted GOP U.S. Rep. Tom Marino on the House floor during a debate about illegal immigration and border security.
Earlier this year, Pelosi was fooled by a tweet from a parody of Gen. Michael Flynn Twitter account despite it being labeled “Not Michael Flynn.”
It’s pure speculation as to whether the lawmaker, 77, is dealing with any side effects from prescription drugs and/or from some kind of condition. People in that age range (and younger) and from any walk of life unfortunately often tend to be on a variety of meds in our overprescribed, Big Pharma-dominated society.
That said, while everyone regardless of age gets tongue-tied here and there, as Natural News has recently suggested, Pelosi’s various episodes of public confusion might be telling.
[T]he fact that this has now happened on multiple occasions with Pelosi suggests that she could be suffering from onset dementia, or some other similar brain abnormality that’s causing her to recall incorrect information and struggle through basic sentences.
It’s perhaps worth noting that during the 2016 presidential campaign, the fake news media dismissed any concerns about the actual state of Hillary Clinton’s health as mere conspiracy theories, that is until she collapsed at the 9/11 ceremony in lower Manhattan.
Famous for telling America that Congress needs to pass Obamacare first before anyone can find out what’s in it, Pelosi is now demanding to know what’s in “Trumpcare” before it is passed and signed into law. Of course, Republicans have hardly covered themselves in glory in their efforts toward trying to get rid of the miserably failing so-called Affordable Care Act, but that’s another matter.
Pelosi also seems to think that Obamacare “succeeded in every way” so whether that assertion is merely a political spin, bad judgment, or evidence of something deeper is a matter of conjecture at this point.
A Bernie Sanders supporter already plans to challenge Pelosi in the Democrat primary next year. In the meantime, do you think that it’s time for Nancy Pelosi to retire from Congress?
